| Tulip Prinses IreneOne of the most famous tulips for a vase is Tulip Prinses Irene. On the strong stem stands the beautiful orange flower with a purplish flame. This winner has a long flowering period and cheers up the garden or vase for a very long time. The orange is great to combine with purple tulips. In 1949 this tulip was found as a sport of the red Tulip Couleur Cardinal. Awarded the Award of Garden Merit in 1993 by the RHS. |
